Our Goals for this Blog

Our original goal was to write about some of our experiences in Ukraine. The plan was that John (the American) will converse about some topic that he thought the readers might find interesting. However, if he wrote something just about America the Ukrainians might find it fascinating but the Americans would be bored (and vice versa). To remedy this he will usually do a comparison of how things are different between the two countries. Helen (the Ukrainian) will then add her thoughts about John's post.

Since we love to travel we have also decided to write about what we experience on these journeys. Also, since we are not couch potatoes we will also review the hot spots that we visit from time to time.

We both love live music so we may also write about the Western musicians that are intrepid enough to travel to Ukraine for a performance.

Finally, we reserve the right to write about any of the current events happening in Ukraine.
